SAINT-GERMAIN-EN-LAYE

The town of Saint-Germain-en-Laye is located in the Yvelines department in the west of Paris and has obvious advantages !

A former royal city Saint-Germain-Laye preserves historical monuments dating from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. The city is one of the historic cities with one of the richest pasts in the Ile-de-France region. The town has retained its old-world charm, heir to the Middle Ages, with its picturesque streets and dead ends dating back to the 12th century.

It appears as a provincial town...

In 1904, the town built the Stade Saint-Germais, which would then give birth to the famous Paris-Saint-Germain football club. Very affected by the bombings of the Second World War, the city had to rebuild during the second half of the 20th century...

Throughout its history, the city has seen the birth, life and death of many famous figures: princes, kings, poets and musicians, painters, philosophers, scientists...
